🧲 Why Brighton?
A creek, some iron, and a name from New York.
Brighton began as a saw-mill settlement called Ore Creek, named for iron in the creek.
Iron can stick to a magnet. That is a science clue hiding in the old name.
The name Brighton comes from Brighton House, built in 1835 by Elijah Fitch and named for his old home in Brighton, New York.
